I have a legal background of over four decades and have personally represented and argued cases against Ebay, the State of Florida, Alameda County, State Farm, U-Haul, Southwest Airlines, and on. Safe to say I have a lot of experience working with other lawyers. I retained this one to work with my mother drafting her will because it was a conflict of interest for me. I can strongly say Raymond Harris is the most unprofessional and incompetent attorney, I have ever dealt with hands down. We paid OVER $10K and had to hire another lawyer to do what Raymond Harris had been retained to do and failed. The other lawyer completed and charged us less than $2K for what Raymond Harris had charged us over $10K and failed to properly complete to the clients wishes.
Absolutely horrible attorney who I would not recommend to anyone. Spent thousands of dollars to have him do a simple task that he proved entirely incompetent, worthless and could not complete. We ended up literally going to another attorney in a different firm who did the entire job from start to finish without issue for less than $3000 after Raymond had already charged us over $10,000, wasted three months and could not complete the job. Raymond Harris is one of the most overrated, worthless attorneys in the Lansing area. He never explained anything. He did not complete tasks and he was completely intimidated by the opposing counsel because he appears to lack experience and certainly lacks professionalism…..
