Wow! This guy was great! He agreed to handle a complicated Medicaid/estate matter, that other lawyers refused to touch, which had been pending for over a year. He achieved an excellent result in only a couple of weeks. In addition, his staff was friendly, kind and efficient. What more can you ask from a lawyer? Vince Macri was wonderful.
Mr. Macri knows his field thoroughly. He consistently gave us sound advice and he was always responsive. In addition to offering his expertise, he was considerate and gentle with both my mother and my mother-in-law when he met with each of them for estate planning. In both cases, after they passed away, we found that the counsel he had given us was exactly on target.
Mr McHugh may be competant, but made mistakes. Never would admit to anything though. He is a bit arrogant with a overinflated opinion about himself. Lacks the true compassion to be great in this field of law.
We are still wondering what we got for our money. Mr. McHugh took his fee upfront($6000.00). This was before my wife got guardianship of her uncle's estate. Her uncle died before McHugh completed that paper work. When we questioned what we had just paid for he said he would reduce the bill by $2000, but we still don't know what McHugh's in house accountant is planning to charge for handling the paperwork with regards to the uncle's will. Was this that complicated?
My grandfather hired his firm to do his will and trust and make sure everything was in order for when he passed. Well this attorney pretty much stole his money because all he did was help the executor steal everything even allowing her to leave my grandfather at the funeral home for almost a year. And his grandchildren who had to hire two lawyers to get what he wanted them to have spending over twenty thousand dollars in attorney fees because Mr,lutz just wanted the estate to keep him bank rolled. We have had numerous court dates where he was ordered to turn over accounting records and he never did but because he’s a lawyer there’s no contempt of court and no penalties. But for the grandchildren that were left in this will it’s just more money out of there pockets!
