It was extremely difficult to get Carol to respond to my calls and emails. I found she was frequently unavailable and on personal travel. In preparing for my case, she procrastinated so long that she left herself insufficient time to prepare for my defense. She then colluded with the other parties to delay the hearings without my consent. She colluded with the child's attorney and prepared documentation and settle on verbiage that she posed to the other party before she even discussed with me. Total collusion. Unprofessional and unethical. When I called her out on her behavior and performance and indicated that I was contemplating reporting her to the bar association, she refunded my entire retainer. Clearly a sign that she acknowledged her underwhelming performance.
Carol Flaherty will separate and attempt to destroy families for profit. She made it clear, and under the penalty of perjury, that her responsibilities do not include 'acting in the best interest of her minor clients' There's absolute failure to communicate. She also won't let you look at bills to confirm accurate billing if NYS taxpayers are responsible for it. Not sure who oversees compliance of those but based on her former invoices, she needs oversight. I know one day God/karma/whatever you believe in will come around and serve her what she deserves based on how she's treated children. Flaherty tries to break down the bonds of the parent child relationship through her perjury and unethical practices for profit. Her words & actions/inactions attempt to destroy families and parent-child bonds. While her dangerous business practices have attempted to destroy my family, I can proudly hold my head up high and know I have stood up for my children and protected them.
