Anna Jeanne Prettyman

I question the ethics of a Lawyer who knows their husband stole tens of thousands of dollars from his clients and then took the family on vacation instead of finishing the work or reimbursing. She knows what he did and has benefited from it. Unethical.

Anna is a disgrace as an attorney. I paid her upwards of $30,000 for a couple weeks of work on my divorce. She refused to go to trial, and urged I just cave to the demands of my abusive ex husband. The reason we were getting divorce is because he physically assaulted me. She didn't advocate for what was in the best interest of me or my daughters. She took my money and refused to return any calls or emails. She committed to Judge Edwards she would have our divorce decree drafted and submitted to the courts no later than May 23, 2024 and she refused to even draft it. We didn't have a working draft of the decree until Aug 19, 2024. She refused to forward me communications, she refused to send me an itemized bill for her services. She's an absolute failure of an attorney and she should be disbarred.

Anna was supposed to draft and submit the divorce decree by May 23, 2024. Although she agreed to this in front of Judge Edwards on April 24, 2024, she did not follow through. I repeatedly contacted her throughout the month of June and received an initial draft on June 17, which I promptly reviewed and returned with notes. I reached out to Anna about this very issue on June 4, June 10, June 11, June 13, June 17, June 18, June 23, June 28, July 10, July 15, July 30, July 31, Aug 1, Aug 5, Aug 12, Aug 13, Aug 15. Despite all of these follow-ups, Anna delayed incorporating my and the opposing counsel’s notes until August 19. This situation has left me without the necessary funds to relocate, impacting my ability to be with my children. Anna’s conduct has been egregious, showing tremendous disregard for my and my daughters’ well-being. Anna also refused to sent me an itemized bill for services and all email correspondence. Her conduct should have her disbarred.

I called Anna Prettyman for help with my custody issue and I been a victim of abuse from my kids father and when I explained to Anna about it on the phone she was very nice and wanted to help and she will work with me to pay her it was a angle from God I thought I told her thank you it's a blessing she wants 3000 but I thought my mom will help but I can do 300 and payments she took my 300 cash and then she wants my paperwork but I asked her for contact to sign so she can be my lawyer but she just continues to asked for my paperwork I told her I give her everything I have then she said I was missing part of custody paperwork and then she said I need more money to continue to be my lawyer I will be happy to give her more money but I have not heard from her to.do a contact to see how much money it be I give her all my paperwork and I need to make sure she going to win my case and stand up for my family and get justice too what he been doing is very wrong and I have not heard anything ba
