Christopher P. Chaney, founder of Chaney Immigration Law Firm PLLC, has dedicated nearly two decades to immigration law, representing nonimmigrants, permanent residents, and employers in complex immigration matters. His extensive experience encompasses temporary work and business visas, employment-based permanent residence, family-based immigration, inadmissibility waivers, and humanitarian relief, including asylum and parole. Mr. Chaney provides employers with strategic counsel on I-9 compliance, worksite enforcement, and defense in OCAHO proceedings involving employer sanctions. With prior leadership roles at national refugee resettlement organizations, he has supervised legal services for refugees and presented on key immigration topics at the U.S. Capitol. As part of Operation Allies Welcome, Mr. Chaney directed legal services for Afghan arrivals, helping more than 10,000 individuals and earning the Department of the Army’s Public Service Commendation Medal.
