Am I okay to fly out of state for a week if I got a DUI?

Answered by attorney Laurie A. Schmidt
DUI/DWI lawyer at 5280 Law Group
It depends. Typically, in Colorado if you are released on a PR bond, there are no travel restrictions while the case is ongoing. If you are released or posted a cash or surety bond, then you must ask the court for permission to travel out of state. Either way, you do not want to violate the terms of your release because that could land you right back in jail.

What happens if I plead guilty on a DUI case?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
IF you plead guilty your license will be suspended, you will have a conviction and there will be other consequences. IF you can live with the consequences, and you drove while impaired, then you plead guilty. IF not, then you plead not guilty.

Can one carry a firearm while on probation for a DUI?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Kapsack & Bair, LLP
Probably, if you were convicted of a misdemeanor there is no "automatic" prohibition from owning a firearm.
