Can I appeal a failure to blow in breathalyzer case ?

Edward J. Dimon

The key to answering your question and the key to success is the driving record of your fiancé. Does he have one or two prior DUI convictions? The 10 year loss of license in New Jersey is normally given for the third DUI conviction. Why did he receive the 10 year sentence ? We utilize a private detective to obtain the certified drivers abstract. We look at the driving record and see if the sentence is appropriate we try to mitigate the consequences in New Jersey. Please call to discuss the details. There is no cost.

The officer can testify to your condition and this may be sufficient to support the conviction. By way of example, if the officer has been trained to observe change of behavior based upon drug use, the officer can testify that there was drug use. The last three cases we have done did not involve alcohol. Please call immediately to discuss. Ed Dimon, Esq. 732-797-1600

Is it normal to be fired for a DUI?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
It depends on what you mean by normal. A lot of jobs where driving is the main requirement often will fire or at least demote employees who get DUIs. I would ask them why they apparently changed their minds when they were already privy to the knowledge that they fired you for. Most employment is "at will" meaning that you can literally be fired for just about any reason or no reason at all, as long as the reason is not discriminatory.
