What can I do to overturn the Department of Motor Vehicles’ decision in favor of my suspension?

There is more to this story, but you have chosen to leave it out. You and your wife both arrive. The police officer does not see you drive, and you or your wife do not admit that you were driving. How did the officer determine that you were driving? Second, why would your license be suspended without an arrest UNLESS you were under conditions not to drink at all. You have had two hearings, and lost both. Let me suggest, without knowing anything more, that you stop drinking altogether. You and drinking do not go together.

Is there any statute of limitations for a DUI or can they wait 4 years to charge you with a DUI?

It is possible. You say that a warrant issued. Did you move since the incident? id DOL have your proper address. Did you have your correct address on your drivers license. This is the information used to cite you to court. If they do not have the correct information, then you did not get the court notice and a warrant would issue. The active warrant keeps the Statute of limitations from running. It is most probably still an active case. My advice: hire an attorney.

How much is it to get a misdemeanor DUI expunged?

Answered by attorney Francis John Cowhig (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Francis John Cowhig
In California, DUIs remain on your DMV record for 10 years and cannot be expunged from your DMV record. The DUI convictions may be expunged from the court records, at the discretion of a judge, but can still be used as enhancements for future DUI filings and convictions. With regards to price, there is no universal price guidelines. Every attorney usually charges differently. I suggest that you contact a number of attorneys in your area to see what the going rate is.
