Will a Class A DWI affect me getting a job later?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
DUI/DWI lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Absolutely. You need to get out of it. It will affect your license and prevent you from any medical jobs, teaching jobs, and lots of careers. Take that case very seriously.

Is 20k to much for a lawyer for 3rd DWI offense?

M. Irene Wilson
Answered by attorney M. Irene Wilson (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at M. Irene Wilson, Attorney at Law
Lawyer fees vary but this fee is not necessarily too high.  A DWI 3rd is a third degree felony and is punished from two to ten years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.  If your lawyer is taking the case to trial, he or she will  prepare for expert testimony and science so there is complex work to be done.  Good luck.  M. Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
The answer depends on the status of the filing against your friend. a motion for speedy trial may be necessary. Another possibility is to get a bond hearing to reduce his bond. Work with his attormey to get results, he must have had one appointed to him by now
