You could be charged in both a criminal complaint and a civil complaint if your actions cause the death or serious injury to another person. The consequences would be significant. Ed Dimon, Esq. 732-797-1600

Is it normal to be fired for a DUI?

It doesn't sound normal to me. On the other hand they do have an interest in insuring their drivers are the highest quality. If you have questions re illegal termination call an employment lawyer.

If I am driving erratically because I have to pee from drinking too much water can I get charged with a DUI?

Answered by attorney Eric S Lumberg (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Eugene Lumberg and Eric S. Lumberg
A Police Officer can not pull someone over without some type of reasonable suspicion. Erratic driving could draw the attention of a Police Officer to pull you over and if there is then a suspicion of alcohol use, further investigation could occur. The question is then, what kind of erratic driving were you doing? Significant swerving will certainly raise suspicion. Please explain in greater detail what the driving was.
