After revocation is up will I be able to obtain a license from another state and be able to legally drive without the interlock?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
DUI/DWI lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
The only one that can lift the Interlock is the Judge who put it on. Technically the other states should follow suit, but don't know how they would ever know. Maybe they will transfer your probation to another state with less strict rules, but you'll have to work it out with that PO when you get there.

Can a person not do the DUI program classes and instead do jail time?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
ASK the judge for jail time. When you get tired of jail ask the judge to let you out, and watch the request be denied, then tell your bunk mate you asked to come to jail because you stink at school and classes. What a joke.

If I have one DUI and received another DUI in another state, will that count as a second offense DUI?

Answered by attorney Andrea Rogers (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Rogers Law Firm
Yes. The other state will report your DUI to your home state and your home state will treat it as if you had received it in your home state.
