Can I go to Australia and get a driver’s license if I’ve had a DUI in Canada?

If you are still on probation with the court, you will probably have to first get clearance from the court. If you do not and you leave without completing all of your court imposed obligations, then it could very well impact you ability to get a license.

you can go back to the court that sentenced you and ask the judge to remove that condition from your sentence. File a motion to modify judgement and sentence, and set a hearing. At the hearing explain to the judge why you cannot comply with the 10 day impound. Your lawyer should have told the judge that you did not own a vehicle at the time of sentencing and asked the judge to waive this requirement. It is at the judges discretion.

If I post bail for a friend, can the court keep it for the outstanding fines that she has?

Usually, the court will return the bail to the person who posted it, at the address they gave when it was posted.
