Sounds odd. You will need an attorney to straighten out this mess, which will only get worse if you do not.

How much is it to get a misdemeanor DUI expunged?

Answered by attorney Francis John Cowhig (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Francis John Cowhig
In California, DUIs remain on your DMV record for 10 years and cannot be expunged from your DMV record. The DUI convictions may be expunged from the court records, at the discretion of a judge, but can still be used as enhancements for future DUI filings and convictions. With regards to price, there is no universal price guidelines. Every attorney usually charges differently. I suggest that you contact a number of attorneys in your area to see what the going rate is.

How much does it cost to get a misdemeanor DUI expunged?

Answered by attorney Nathaniel D Shafer
DUI/DWI lawyer at Natty Shafer Law
How much it costs, depends on the filing fee of the jurisdiction. Lawyers also vary their fees depending on the difficulty and number of charges to be expunged. Most cities require a motion explaining why an expungement is appropriate or necessary.
