Is it possible for me to get my license as normal person since it has been six years since the offense?

Probation for a DUI is 5 years from the date of conviction. What do your sentencing orders say about your license? Since DOL controls license suspension, I suggest that you call them and find out what is necessary to reinstate your license. I do know that they will require at minimum, high risk (SR22) insurance, and that you have completed some form of alcohol counseling as may have been ordered by the court.

Should I plead not guilty to a DUI?

Call an attorney for a free consultation or you can go to first appearance and ask for the appointment of the Public Defender. You need a lawyer to evaluate the case and get you the best resolution possible. Your BAC is an aggravating factor and a lawyer needs to point out mitigation.

What will happen to my DUI charge?

Hudson Thomas Bair
Answered by attorney Hudson Thomas Bair (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Kapsack & Bair, LLP
You need to call a DUI lawyer in your area, they will be able to listen to the facts of your case and using their training and experience help you understand the charges you are facing, the possible outcomes and whether you have defenses that may win or reduce your charges (and sentence). Going it alone is rarely a good idea, a public defender may be assigned if your income is low, he/she can help you in court but not at the DMV. A private lawyer is the only way to have a chance of winning at the DMV and in court. A DUI carries with it certain minimums, these minimums vary from county to county, sometimes even courtroom to courtroom. A local DUI attorney can help you understand what the chances are of going to jail, paying fines and doing a DUI program.
