Where do I take my letter of completion after I have completed my 18 month DUI course?

Answered by attorney Philip Daniel Hache
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Phil Hache
Some DUI schools submit it to the DMV automatically for you. You likely have to show proof of completion to the Court as well (as it is usually required, at least in southern california where I handled these matters it is). Get clarification from your attorney on where to turn the proof of completion to. Sometimes it is at the criminal clerk window, sometimes it is the court where the conviction occurred.

What are my options for my wet and reckless and DUI?

You should retain counsel. With 2 DUIs in 2 days, you are potentially facing severe penalties. Assuming you plead under a plea deal, the district attorney may agree to reduce or drop one of the charges. On the other hand, both the DA and the court may perceive you as a danger to the public and be tough on you. Although they can't get you for a prior because you were not yet convicted on the first, they can make sure you receive stiff fines, interlock, or a number of other penalties.

If I am already sentenced for a DUI can I take it back to the court and fight?

I hope you did not blow a .56. That is 7x the legal limit. You would probably be dead. As far as fighting it after being sentenced. Your only recourse is to appeal the case to a higher court. You cannot appeal because you don't like the result. An appeal is based solely upon a reversible error committed during the trial.
