What can I expect when I return to court for a violation of probation for a DUI?

Richard B. Jacobson
Answered by attorney Richard B. Jacobson (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Richard B. Jacobson Associates, LLC
You might find that your P.O. has filed a Motion to Revoke your probation. Such a motion is not the last word, however. You would have the right to a probable cause hearing, and then, about two months later, a final hearing on revocation. There are alternatives to revocation. A good lawyer can be a tremendous help.

Is there a diverse programs for California?

Hudson Thomas Bair
Answered by attorney Hudson Thomas Bair (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Kapsack & Bair, LLP
I am not sure what you mean by "diverse" if you mean "diversion" the answer is "yes." A diversion program is a case settlement that requires a person to attend classes and/or perform community service or sometimes other tasks which, if successfully completed, will result in the case being dismissed. This type of settlement is usually offered to "petty" offenders, I have never seen it offered to a person charged with DUI. If you are facing criminal charges in California you should contact an attorney to discuss the facts of your case and what alternatives may be available to you.

If I got caught driving without a license in violation of DUI probation, what do I do now?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Paula Drake
You might want to get an attorney, as you could be looking at some jail time for the suspended license matter and the violation of probation.
