If I am driving erratically because I have to pee from drinking too much water can I get charged with a DUI?

DUI/DWI lawyer at Freeborn Law Offices P.S.
If you are under the influence or alcohol or drugs, then yes, you can be charged with DUI. If, as you say, it is because you "drove erratically because you had to pee because you drank to much water", you can still be charged with negligent driving or reckless driving.

Does a DUI hurt my chances of getting citizenship?

Answered by attorney Eric M. Mark
DUI/DWI lawyer at The Law Office of Eric M. Mark
It does not prevent him from legalizing, but it will be considered and must be disclosed. The biggest problem you have is that he is here illegally now, and that is a very difficult obstacle to overcome. You need a lawyer to help you through that process if you want to succeed.

My 30 year old son lost his license in NJ for a DUI several years ago. Can he get a license in NC if the NJ issue is not cleared up. How can he fix

Your son must first address the DUI in NJ. The means posting bail for the Failure to Appear and then adjudicating the DUI charge. If found guilty or pleading to the DUI, he must fulfil all the NJ DUI requirements including IDRC. We do these out of state cases every day. There are solutions. Please call to discuss.
