Lisa M. Gaspero was licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1996. She currently concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, business law, real estate, family law, and commercial litigation and appeals. She is a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Bar, the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the Federal Bar of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Roll of Attorneys for the United States Supreme Court. She has had her own practice since 2002.
Prior to opening her own practice, Lisa was an associate attorney with Locke, Lord, Bissell & Liddle, where she concentrated in business litigation, federal and state court appeals, corporate matters, and reinsurance.
Lisa also enjoys providing charitable legal services to indigent children and adults. She has an interest in juvenile law, and published Does Transfer to Adult Court Work? Recidivism and Juveniles Tried as Adults." Juvenile Justice (Illinois State Bar Association), Vol. 8, No. 1 (Sept. 1995).
Lisa is married to Carmen A. Gaspero, Jr., who is also a practicing attorney. Lisa and her husband Carmen are the proud parents of five energetic daughters and one young son. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, marathon running, and playing the violin, viola and piano.
