The firm has reprinted me on two occasions: as a defendant in a PI case, and in appeal of a divorce decree. As an attorney, myself, I found both of their lawyers to be brilliant and highly professional. They both won. And, I already have hired Bob Palmer again. There accounting system does need some work.
May Lorber provides exceptional expertise in a caring way focused on the goals of their clients. We work with the employment relations group (Sean Towner and Katlyn Foust) and they do a great job of providing options and support on tough employment law matters, as well as help with providing shares to employees, vendor issues, etc. Top notch approach and services levels - at a fair price!
Brad was always very prompt and gave me his personal opinion on issues I had with a child involved. He has a family and I felt he gave me the best advise possible.
My company worked with May Oberfell Lorber on a major contract with a relatively new client partner. We needed to be able to protect ourselves and our client during the initiative. May Oberfell Lorber made sure that we covered all key areas in the contract so that everything was in black and white, nothing was left to chance. The initiative went off very successfully and I felt that May Oberfell Lorber was a major part of our success.
Working with May Oberfell Lorber was a great experience. My wife and I approached them after we had our first child in order to get our will in order, and they made the entire process easy for us. Since we don’t deal with lawyers very often, we weren’t sure if we’d understand all that we needed to do; however, our attorney, Marcel Lebbin, helped walk us through everything step-by-step. We would definitely recommend them to someone else, and plan to use them for any future needs that may arise.
Marcel Lebbin handled our trusts and wills with much care and concern. He was committed to doing the best possible in keeping our personal and professional interests in mind to decide what type of parameters to set up. It was a long and tedious process, and his attention to detail and commitment to make sure that the process would be just what we wanted was very appreciated. He worked well with us and our accountant to make an informed and complete set of documents.
They are a match for our company needs.
Bob Palmer, is supposed to represent my city council (Common Council) yet he refuses consistently to do his job (despite earning more than $8000 per month for his role) - he states his opinions out of turn (I've witnessed this and it's been reported by local media too as of 2025) - and he endangers members of the community. He says things like 'according to case law' but never provides the public with those case examples and conflates local office with state service in Washington D.C. in the craziest of ways. I don't know if Palmer was better at his job or if this is some strange onset senility - but I wouldn't entrust him until you have examined his failures regularly reported in early 2025 in the South Bend Tribune, WVPE, and by Redress South Bend. Hiring him at this particular moment would seem ill-advised and maybe dangerous - He can't just cost by but must do his job to earn the 8000 per month he is paid by my community!
They didn’t do what was presented to me at the time of hiring them . Way overcharged me and badgered me for payment continually . Didn’t know the law and got schooled by opposing law firm . Billed me for things that they promised they wouldn’t . Attorney showed up late twice . Different lawyers almost every time and needed to be brought up to speed every time on what was going on .terrible representation !!!
