Ellene has been representing injured workers and disabled individuals since 1989. Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, Ellene began her legal career as a judicial clerk for the Douglas County Superior Court. She then worked as an associate for a Columbus workers' compensation law firm until 1991, when she returned to Douglasville to open her own practice.

The Law Office of Ellene Welsh has two fully staffed locations, in Douglasville and Columbus, and serves clients throughout these areas and all of West Georgia. Ellene has represented thousands of clients throughout the complex workers' compensation and Social Security disability process. She and her staff pride themselves on a high level of personal service, because they are aware their clients are often physically and financially fragile.

Hired Attorney Ms. Ellene Welsh

The number one thing that I was impressed by, was the fact that even if I did not get to speak with Mrs. Welsh directly, her staff was equipped and educated enough to address and answer any of my questions and/or concerns. In addition, Mrs. Welsh’s law firm is very professional and they make you feel welcomed as well as navigate and walk you through the process as if you were family. This is indeed a five-star law firm that I would recommend to anyone looking for a disability attorney, we were pleased with our results at the end of our journey and if need be; we would definitely use Mrs. Welsh’s law firm in the future.

One of the best things I've done since moving to Douglasville, GA was to acquire representation for a disability matter from the Ellen Welch Firm. They were extremely professional, friendly, and responded to my needs in an extraordinarily timely manner. My response from The Social Security Administration was so much faster than I expected. The 5 star rating that I made my decision on from reviews about this firm, were Spot On!!!! They are every bit of what the reviews stated and so much more.... I highly recommend this firm........ Hired Attorney Ms. Ellene Welsh

Ellene and her secretary were always attentive to my case. Even when I dropped by the office without an appointment, they always took time to talk to me. They helped me with both my workers comp and social security disability cases and I am very pleased with the work on both cases. I have referred her to friends and family and will continue to refer her to anyone who needs help with a workers comp case or social security case. She is a great attorney with a great secretary.
