Of course! There are at least a couple of ways to divorce him. If you can have him personally served, so much the better. You will need a Proof of Personal Service (FL-330).

You would have to pay from the date they filed for support forward. If you were in jail, you could not pay support. Ensure you have proof of when you were jailed otherwise they may order you to pay back support.

Yes, so long as the attorney is willing, presumably at least some payment towards fees was made here, although the attorney can agree to work for free (I realize this seems unlikely).
