Should I divorce my husband if I can't afford to move out?

Answered by attorney Leonard T Schwartz (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Offices of Slotnick & Schwartz
You are talking about a Divorce from Bed and Board which takes you through all the legal procedures for a divorce up to the final judgment. But it probably does not apply to you. You can move out and ask the Court to Order him to pay spousal support and child support. You can apply in NJ for a divorce if you are still living with your husband.

How can i get divorce documents?

Answered by attorney Bari Zell Weinberger
Divorce lawyer at Weinberger Divorce Family Law Group, LLC
Thank you for your question. In general, if you need copies of your divorce decree and marital settlement agreement, it can be obtained through the court and/or State of New Jersey, depending on how long ago the divorce took place. Additional information is required to better assist you and I suggest that you speak with an attorney so that he/she can offer you guidance with this issue.
