What can I do to get a fair divorce?

You can contact an attorney or mediator to assist you in bringing your case to a final judgment so you can get remarried. You can work with a self help clinic to file the initial paperwork and have your wife served. Then the clock is ticking and your case will live forward from there.

If I get a divorce, would my inheritance be impacted?

Answered by attorney Ronald Karl Nims (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Ronald K. Nims
If you kept the inheritance separate, then it's not marital property and you'll keep it. ?But if you commingled it with marital assets and it's no longer possible to separately identify the inheritance, then it will be considered marital property.
