How can I divorce him, if I do not have an address?

Answered by attorney John E. Kirchner (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at John E. Kirchner
You do not need your husband to sign anything; all that is necessary is to personally serve him notice of the proceedings. If, after making a diligent effort to locate him, you cannot have him personally served the papers that provide him notice, the judge can authorize service by publication. That will permit the court to dissolve the marriage and decide issues concerning your son, but it may not have authority to establish a child support order.

I got married in Alabama butwe both live Georgia now. Where do I file for a divorce.

Divorce lawyer at Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser Eidex, LLC
The first question is "Have you both lived in Georgia for at least six months?' If the answer is yes, then you would file for divorce in the county that the opposing party resides. If it is a uncontested divorce, the other party can waive venue and allow the divorce to be filed in the county in which you reside. If it is a contested divorce, the complaint has to be filed in the county of the other party and that party has to be served with the proper documentation.

What should I do if my husband kicks me out of the house?

Answered by attorney Robert L. Willis (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Do It Yourself Divorce, PLLC
He does not have the right to remove you from the house without a court's Order. If you are purchasing the house, you share the house as tenants in the entirety and your rights as a married person is equal to his. If you live in a rental unit you are considered co-tenants and under Michigan landlord tenant law, your rights are again, equal to his.
