If my ex married someone else, can she contest our illegal divorce?

If it were me, I would tell you to leave well enough alone. Even if you win, she will inform the court that you perpetrated a fraud on the court and there is a good possibility that is a criminal act.

If house is in husband's name, is the wife entitled to half?

If you are in Florida, you probably have an interest in the house, although it may not be half. You need to consult with an attorney in order to best determine your potential rights and options.

Can i file for divorce in florida if i got married in new york?

Answered by attorney Nicole Kessler Ferry
Divorce lawyer at Nicole Kessler Ferry, P.A.
If you have lived here for 6 months, you can file for divorce. Since you don't know where he is, you will have to publish the divorce for 4 weeks in  a newspaper that is in the last known address for him. It is called service by publication.  After the publication has ended, the newspaper will give you verification that you would then file with the Court. The Court can enter a default and set a final hearing. This process is in my opinion much harder for an unrepresented party to complete. I highly suggest hiring an attorney to handle for you. Best of Luck.
