What should I do if my husband kicks me out of the house?

Richard Zasada

You can stay. You're husband cannot kick you out of the marital home. I would consult with an attorney and file for divorce.

Can a green card holder be deported after 7 years of marriage by a US citizen?

I would need the details and you should be consulting with a family law and an immigration lawyer. As this was clearly not a "sham" marriage and the children are US citizens it is doubtful there would be an effect on your immigration status. Moving in with your boyfriend with the children will have some, but minor effect legally in Michigan depending on the particular circumstances, but it will most certainly up the emotional issues in the divorce.

You would be allowed to reopen the temporary hearing based on his misrepresentation, intentional or not. This will allow you to among other things, seek child support and attorney fees.
