Can I legally take back an expensive gift?

Answered by attorney James T Weiner (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at James T. Weiner, P.C.
If your name is on the title it is still legally yours and you did not legally complete the gift so you can take it back.. AND stop saying you "gave" it to your son.. you can say you intended to give it to him but you never completed the gift! BTW Check whose name is on the insurance and registration (license plates). If its your insurance and your are on the registration .. go for it (if not consult and attorney with ALL the paperwork).

I am a stay at home mom, does my husband have to pay for a attorney if I need one for a divorce?

Answered by attorney Brent R. Chipman
Divorce lawyer at Law Office of Brent R. Chipman
The court can order the payment of temporary funds to allow you to retain an attorney. The court can also award you some or all of your attorney fees as part of the final settlement. However, if your husband declines to give you money for an attorney, you are responsible to pay for your own attorney until the court enters an order addressing the issue. The difficulty will be finding an attorney who will work for you now, in the hope of getting paid in the future.

You need to file for divorce. It would be best that you at least consult an attorney in the state where you live face to face to learn more about your options based an attorney's opportunity to discuss all the relevant facts.
