What I am entitled to regarding our home?

Bruce Provda
Answered by attorney Bruce Provda (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Provda Law Firm
It probably would not be 50/50 for the whole value of the house, but you would be entitled to some of the equity for the years that you paid on the mortgage and for any repairs or improvements done during the course of your marriage.

Can I be reimbursed by NYS for legal fees?

Morghan Leia Richardson
Answered by attorney Morghan Leia Richardson (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Richardson Legal PLLC
You may be able to seek legal fees if he violates the terms of your divorce agreement. If he continues stalking you, that may be considered a violation of the "no molestation" clause of your agreement. Talk to some attorneys to get a better idea of your options.

If your move would interfere with the other party's visitation you may have a problem. consult a local attorney if that's the case.
