From the facts given, I cannot form an opinion. The devil is always in the details and depending on the bankruptcy and the factual situation during the marriage it might be possible that you have some interest in the automobile and the residence.

How long can I collect alimony and for how much if I am disabled?

Rebecca A Rainwater
Answered by attorney Rebecca A Rainwater (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Landon Rainwater Robinson LLP
Alimony or what is now known as spousal support is a discretionary. A court will look at many factors before determining if it will be awarded and if so for how long. The amount is based on the paying party's income. You should consult a family law attorney to get more specific information.
