We have a Prenup ..qe keep everything separate but we buyed 2 cars in my marriage Do I have rigths over the cars ??

Answered by attorney Diana L. Anderson

Whether or not you would get alimony depends on the terms of the prenuptial agreement.  If you have only been married a short time (two years) you would normally get only a very limited amount of alimony if any.  If the prenuptial agreement indicates that there would be no alimony, then you will get no alimony.  Usually a prenuptial agreement addresses the assets that each party brings to the marriage, not assets that are acquired after the marriage.  If you purchased two vehicles in both names after marriage, those vehicles are not covered by the prenuptial agreement.

How long will it take me to get an Ex parte divorce ?

Answered by attorney Diana L. Anderson
Divorce lawyer at Diana L. Anderson
I'm not sure what you mean by ex parte divorce.  Ex parte usually refers to a conversation betwen one litigant and the judge.  You might mean a defualt judgment or something else.  If you can get the other party to consent to waive the time necessary to wait for default, you can greatly speed up the procees.

Does my girlfriend need an annulment if she’s a Filipina and was previously married without a divorce?

It is a crime in United States to be married to two people at the same time. Of course, she will need to obtain a divorce before she remarries.
