We called asking for an emergency petition for protection from abuse, and was told by the 'secretary' that there was 'no such thing', and we could make an appointment (we live in a different state)....the person we spoke to was condescending and rude. When i explained we needed this child out immediately, she said we could file w/ CPS and get a court date for 10-15 days!! It's unbelievable that a child can't be taken out of a situation like that right away, and that a lawyer would chose to let that happen!! Disgusting!!

Hired Attorney Robin Northern

I contacted the Robin Phelan Northern a week ago and provided my personal information along with the other party involved in the case information. The legal clerk confirmed my appointment on 2 separate occasions. However, the day of appointment, I was contacted by the clerk and informed that Robin Northern would not be able to represent me due to a conflict of interest. I am a retired military member and value honesty and integrity. Obviously, she does not. Example: good ole gal/boy's system.
