Enoch Erbert is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on construction and commercial litigation. He represents contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and business owners in a variety of construction-related disputes involving breach of contract claims, payment disputes, construction defects, project delays, change orders and construction lien matters. He also assists clients with contract drafting, review, negotiation and risk management issues related to commercial and industrial projects.
Enoch brings a unique and practical perspective to his practice through his extensive background in the skilled trades and industrial automation industry. Prior to entering the legal profession, he spent more than a decade wiring electrical systems, integrating robotics and building custom machines throughout Michigan and the Midwest. He worked full-time at an industrial controls and automation machine shop while earning his undergraduate degree, using his hands-on industry experience to finance his education. His experience working directly with contractors, project managers, engineers and field personnel provides him with a practical understanding of the operational and technical issues that frequently arise in the construction law practice area.
Throughout law school, Enoch worked in the legal field, serving as a law clerk at a small litigation firm in Sterling Heights, Michigan, where he gained experience in client relations, legal research, motion practice and litigation support. Consistent with his nontraditional path to the legal profession, Enoch balanced the demands of law school and his clerkship by relying on the same work ethic and discipline that defined his years in the trades as a means of achieving his educational and professional goals.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2025, where he participated in the Great Lakes Environmental Law Clinic and received recognition for his legal writing and research skills.
Enoch earned his Bachelor of Science in Business/Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University. His nontraditional path to the legal profession and background in the trades continue to shape his practical, client-focused approach to litigation and dispute resolution. Clients value his ability to understand both the legal and real-world business aspects of construction disputes while proving clear, effective guidance throughout the litigation process.
