Paul Brannon was born in Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County in 1980 and has continued to be a resident of Okaloosa County for over 33 years. Paul attended school at Destin Elementary, Bruner Middle School and graduated high school from Fort Walton Beach High. Paul played competitive golf for Fort Walton Beach High School's boys team and actively participated in the school's Key Club and other leadership programs.
After graduation, Paul attended the University of Florida. During his sophomore year at the University of Florida, Paul was one of sixty students accepted into the Rinker School of Building Construction. Paul earned his Bachelor's of Science in Building Construction in December of 2002. The following Spring, Paul was accepted and attended law school at Stetson University College of Law. Paul graduated from law school in early 2005 with his Juris Doctor. Paul took and passed the Florida Bar Exam in July 2005.
Immediately following the Florida Bar Examination, Paul returned to Okaloosa County to begin his practice of law with his father, Wm. Dennis Brannon. Like his father, Paul limited his practice to personal injury, wrongful death, and general insurance claims. Paul has handled hundreds of car accidents, motorcycle accident, truck accidents, bicycle accidents, and slip and fall claims.
Paul is married to Kristen Denhardt Brannon, whom he met while attending law school at Stetson University College of Law. Paul and Kristen were married in 2005 and have since been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Avery.
Paul cares deeply about Okaloosa County and the Gulf Coast area. Paul has taken a particular interest in our counties youth. Paul has served as a mentor in middle schools and juvenile correction facilities. In addition to his mentoring public service, he is currently an active member in the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber were he has served as a director of the Young Professionals Committee. Paul has also served on the Board of Directors for the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast and has directed its Annual Golf Tournament and Gala for three (3) consecutive years [2009-2011]. The Fisher House of the Emerald Coast is a non-profit organization created to support our men and women in the armed forces by provided comfort homes on or around military basis.
