About Thomas A. Finley

Tom has been a very active and respected member of the Iowa State Bar Association, having served as chair of the Committee on Professional Responsibility and the Ethics Committee. He was also appointed Special Master by the Iowa Supreme Court to study attorney advertising. Tom is a frequent local, state and national lecturer in the area of trial practice and has authored articles on health law, medical practice and trial practice. Tom concentrates in the area of trial law and has extensive experience in a variety of practice areas.

Hired Attorney

Mr. Finley was not at all responsive to my need. I was referred to Mr. Finley by a prestigious corporate law firm, and I was extremely disappointed by the referral. He was pompous, arrogant, and extremely self-centered. In addition, his services were quite overpriced.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
