Mr. Thode is very sharp with his legal knowledge and willing to research case law to provide basis for legal intervention. He is articulate and direct when communicating with the other party and gives sharp deadlines.

To be upfront, I had difficulty with his associate Andrea Dalton, at which point Mr. Thode stepped in. Ms. Dalton missed a court date that was crucial to my case. At that time, she and Mr. Thode agreed to return my partial retainer THE NEXT DAY. Several days later I received an additional, extraordinary bill to which he eventually said he would "write off" the remaining amount owed instead of refunding me the original partial retainer. Very sneaky.... He did not keep his word and I was very disappointed.

I spoke with Bill in February, 2023. We spoke and agreed to a charge of $300 for an hour of consultation. I received a receipt confirming this amount, $300 for 1 hour 'flat rate'. However, a week later I noticed a charge from Thode Law Firm for $790. I contacted them immediately and asked for help to fix the situation. After 5 days without a response, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. A MONTH later, still without responding to my email asking for help, Thode Law then disputed the charge with my credit card company, again trying to overcharge me $490. Again I wrote to Bill directly, asking for help and informing him I would be disputing the overcharge amount. They have STILL not replied to any of my emails. The lacking responses show an absent commitment to communication and transparency. The repeated attempts to collect an amount that was not clearly communicated or agreed to by both parties resembles deceptive business practice and borders on fraud. BE CAUTIOUS
