Education and Early Career
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shannon O'Keefe embarked on her journey in law with a strong desire to advocate for individuals and families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Miami University of Ohio and proceeded to obtain her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder. During her academic years, Shannon's dedication shone through as she served as a legal writing teaching assistant and contributed as an associate editor of the Colorado Law Review.
Insights and Experience
Shannon's early career experiences laid a solid foundation for her future endeavors. Interning at the Internal Revenue Service provided her with a deep understanding of complex tax law cases, while her role at the Denver Probate Court offered valuable insights into legal proceedings. Following her graduation, Shannon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Norma A. Sierra of the Boulder District Court, focusing on domestic relations cases. This role allowed her to gain invaluable insights into the intricacies of dissolution, legal separation, and parental responsibilities cases.

Today, Shannon O'Keefe serves as the esteemed Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Johnson Law Group & Johnson O’Keefe, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of excellent legal services. Her responsibilities encompass promoting best practices, standardizing procedures, and overseeing quality assurance checks.
