Sara N. Rodriguez is an associate with the insurance defense law firm of Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin & Stoller, P.A.
During law school, Ms. Rodriguez clerked at both civil and criminal law firms, and interned for Justice Barbara J. Pariente at the Florida Supreme Court, Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and Judge Vance E. Salter at the Third District Court of Appeal. She was also selected to be a Teaching Assistant in FIU College of Law's legal research and writing program.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rodriguez built a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry where she worked as a clinical research associate on a variety of pharmaceutical clinical research studies.
Ms. Rodriguez is a native of New York.
Publications "No Means No, But Silence Means Yes? The Policy and Constitutionality of the Recent State Proposals for Opt-Out Organ Donation Laws," a law review Comment, FIU Law Review, Fall 2012. This was one of only three student-written Comments to be selected for publication in the Fall 2012 issue.
While at FIU College of Law, Ms. Rodriguez served as the Executive Comments Editor for the FIU Law Review.

At FIU College of Law, Ms. Rodriguez earned "Book Awards" for outstanding achievement in Evidence, Wills & Trusts, Legal Skills & Values II, Seminar: International Criminal Procedure, Federal Courts, and Civil Externship.
