About Lorraine Elizabeth Parker

Lorraine Parker is an experienced trial attorney and counselor, combining compassion with tenacity and strategic expertise to obtain verdicts and settlements that compensate those harmed by the wrongs of others. For more than three decades, Lorraine has proven herself to be a trusted trial advocate, recognized by her peers as a leading attorney in personal injury and medical malpractice law, as well as other areas of plaintiff’s litigation such as insurance bad faith and sexual abuse.

Lorraine is also a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Attorneys, an organization of elite trial lawyers from the United States and 30 countries. Lorraine has been recognized by her peers for excellence in her field of practice. She was named a Top 10 Attorney in Colorado for 2017-2022 by Super Lawyers. Lorraine was named Best Lawyers® Lawyer of the Year in Medical Malpractice – Plaintiffs in 2015, 2018, and 2021, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers® in both Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury litigation since 2005. In recognition of her work, the Colorado Women’s Bar Association awarded Lorraine the prestigious Mary Lathrop Award in 2013, and in 2004 the Colorado Trial Attorneys Association awarded her Case of the Year for a successful appeal to the Colorado Supreme Court overturning an order requiring her client to produce confidential medical records. The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award to Lorraine in 2020.

In addition to her practice of law, Lorraine serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, serves serves as editor of the Colorado Courtroom Handbook for Civil Trials and speaks frequently at legal education conferences and mentors young attorneys.
