This "little" guy was a total and complete jerk. I was kind enough to contact him through his "terrible" web site, to see about hiring him to represent me, in a fairly lucrative long term way. On a retainer, in other words. That was in spite of the fact that I already have briefed a "real" law firm, and was preparing to put the firm on retainer, for this issue. I thought I would talk to this "old guy" first... He emailed me back, and asked me to call him, to discuss the issue. I did. He has a high squeaky voice, and looks about 80 years old, with only ten years of experience as an attorney, so I was already imagining that I did not want someone like him representing me. My situation calls for a strong, experienced, tough negotiator. As we begin talking, and I was trying to briefly explain the situation, he kept assuming why I was calling and interrupting me. I am a very successful executive, with over 30 years of experience, and I do not stand for inexperience.
