Carl also has broad experience in contested matters at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) representing many clients in patent inter partes review proceedings, patent reexaminations and trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.With over a decade of experience as an in-house counsel, Carl understands how business objectives and legal objectives work together. Carl provides his clients with incisive answers to their most sophisticated legal issues. A special focus of Carl’s practice includes matters involving cryptocurrencies, and he represents clients in both litigation and transactional matters in that space.Carl is licensed to practice in the state courts of Colorado, New York and Ohio, and is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO.
