After graduating from the University of Denver Law School in 1986, Mr. Tiemeier worked in medical malpractice defense for many years. His experience in the courtroom included radial keratonomy trials, which piqued his interest in refractive surgery in general. After a several–year period of involvement in complex commercial litigation, including real estate, intellectual property and securities fraud, he returned to medical malpractice defense. He continues to represent physicians in all practice specialties in the courtroom, as trial work is and always has been his enduring passion. From his special interest in ophthalmology came invitations to share his knowledge at national and regional meetings with ophthalmologists who wanted to lower their exposure to litigation, particularly from refractive surgery. This resulted in developing a risk management counseling practice that came from his experience in the courtroom, as well as what he has learned from the insurance company executives, risk managers and distinguished physicians he has had the privilege of working with at these meetings and conventions, and as clients. Recognition: Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rated; 5.0 Client Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Colorado Super Lawyer (2006-2009, 2012-2014).

Reviews for C. Gregory
Have you consulted or hired this lawyer?
Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Greg is an excellent 'Physician's Attorney'. He thoroughly researches the specific subject he is defending and remains in close personal contact with the defendant, finding the best possible experts to review the matter and testify for the defense. His manner is perfect (in my opinion) for informing and gently persuading juries without being intimidating or arrogant. He doggedly pursues the facts and the truth and organizes a case logically & carefully. He is exceptionally easy to work with.
Mr. Tiemeier is one of the few attorneys I have met and found to be truly personable and caring, extending past the attorney-client relationship. After having the chance to work with Mr. Tiemeier, I learned of his growing national reputation as a defense attorney in the field of medical malpractice. His manner is thoughtful and pragmatic, recognizing the many complexities that each strategy and decision may bring. I highly recommend Mr. Tiemeier without reservation.
