Bernadette was born and raised in Colorado. She attended College at the University of Colorado at Denver, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, gradating Summa Cum Laude. She attended the University of Denver College of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate.

Prior to joining White and Steele, Bernadette was a shareholder at a Denver law firm where she spent 18 years primarily defending real estate professionals in state, federal, and administrative matters.

Bernadette joined White and Steele as Of Counsel in August 2024, and continues defending real estate professionals.

She holds the prestigious AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been featured in A.M. Best’s Recommended Insurance attorneys.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
