Hired Attorney

Less than helpful. She may even have been detrimental to my case. There was no effort to advocate for me as a client. I do not recommend her, and despite her being a public defender (I get the system is broken) you'd be better off representing yourself or going private. She is absolutely that bad at her job. Makes you wonder if it's on purpose... I'm sure it's an Occam's Razor scenario, and they're understaffed with heavy case loads. I was understanding, professional, and pleasant with Miss Goldberg, and she never reciprocated. Her gaze radiated disgust that she even had to be in a room with clients. I cannot understand, for the life of me, why she is even practicing law. Help people or at least pretend you want to help people. I'm posting anonymously because I do not trust Miss Goldberg, or our local court system, to read this review, and act professionally. Absolutely I'd give her a 0 out of 5 if possible. Fort Collins deserves better defenders than this.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
