Hired Law Firm

We just returned from picking up our will that was drawn up by the Reecer firm. It took 3 months to finally get the signed will. They were very knowledgeable about the legal aspects and very nice but communication was not good. We had to call to check status at every turn. Two different weeks of that time was spent by us reviewing the draft but the rest was just nothing being done until we called to check status. Also, the cost was $500 more we learned than other firms for the same will.

Hired Law Firm

Talked to Ms. Reecer. She could not provide any help for me concerning a revocable trust of which I was a successor trustee. I appreciated the limited information she provided and asked to be billed for the consultation time. About a month later, I received a contract in the mail to retain her. I thought there was a mistake and contacted their office. I was billed not only for the consultation time but also for explanations concerning questions about the confusing information they had sent me.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
