About Ryan J. Bennett

Ryan J. Bennett received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a double-major in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship, graduating magna cum laude in 2019. While at Baylor University, Ryan founded the Baylor Fitness Nutrition and Health Club, which later changed into the Baylor Barbell Club (a fitness and weightlifting organization).

Right after college, Ryan attended the Texas Tech University School of Law and the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business where he graduated in 2022 and obtained his law degree and Master of Business Administration. While at TTU, he participated in the Board of Barristers’ intra school events and finished as a finalist in the Advanced Mock Trial Competition and a semifinalist in the Advanced Negotiations Competition. He focused his advocacy skills on mock trial, moot court, and negotiations, winning Best Brief in the Stetson Law’s National Pretrial Competition and finished as a quarterfinalist with his team. Ryan also developed his research and writing skills as a member and Articles Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review, a professional legal journal focused on bringing to light unique insights into Texas and United States laws. He personally helped edit and publish two professional legal articles and published his own, entitled, “Rappers Rhymes are Not Admissions to Crimes: Eliminating the Unlawful Use of Rap Lyrics Against Rappers in Criminal Proceedings” in the Ohio Northern University Law Review, Vol. 46, No. 1, 2021.

After graduating from law school, Ryan worked for Hanshaw Kennedy Hafen, LLP in Frisco, Texas, focusing his efforts on numerous business litigation issues.

Ryan’s practice focuses on Business and Real Estate disputes, Transactions and Civil Litigation. Ryan is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts.
