I felt very comfortable speaking with Mr. Leifert. The particular dealings were delayed with the state but he got the job done. The excessive amount of time it took was due to the state being back logged. One of the receptionists was a bit snappy with me once but I admit I wasn't in the mood to be patient either...
Doug is a compulsive liar, he also is not a trial attorney, although he claims to be. When I hired him, during all stages of my case he had other attorneys do the work, he only tried 12 cases in his 36 years of trying cases. He treats clients who hire him for criminal cases awful. He tries to take advantage of you because you don't have knowledge of the law so he uses that to try to manipulate you. If you like prison hire Doug, if you don't DO NOT hire Doug! You'll thank me for my feedback, because this will be the worst decision of your life hiring this man.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Do not waste your hard-earned money on Doug. Hire someone else who will genuinely care about your case. Doug may pretend to be interested, but in reality, he is only after a paycheck. Once he receives payment, he will delegate all the work to his "assistant" and will blatantly lie to your face. Trust me, do not give Doug the satisfaction of taking advantage of you. Choose wisely and invest in someone who will fight for your cause
