About Mark S. Miller

Mark S. Miller is a Trial Lawyer specializing in Medical Malpractice and Birth Injury litigation including matters involving birth trauma, hypoxic brain injuries, brachial plexus injuries, stillbirth, diagnosis errors, surgical errors, missed cancer and wrongful death. Mr. Miller has tried cases in multiple states, on both sides of the bar, and in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Miller is a native Floridian, born and raised in Osceola County. After attending the University of Florida and receiving his undergraduate degree in political science, Mr. Miller spent four years teaching American Government and Constitutional Law in the public school system of Osceola County. After his time as a teacher, Mr. Miller served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army where he served in multiple theaters of operation as an Ordnance Officer (EOD). Upon completion of his military service, Mr. Miller attended Florida A&M University College of Law. Mr. Miller is a member of the Florida Bar and the Tennessee Bar.

Mr. Miller began his legal career in private practice as a sole practitioner in Tennessee. Upon returning to Florida, Mr. Miller served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit (Orange/Osceola) and then as a private criminal defense attorney. Mr. Miller later served as a Senior Trial Attorney handling complex civil litigation matters for several major banking institutions. Despite developing a strong reputation as a fierce trial attorney, Mr. Miller took a hiatus from private practice in order to work for the Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where he served in Texas, Florida, and Georgia during his tenure. Mr. Miller served in a variety of positions with a focus on cases involving issues of national security.

It was during this time that Mr. Miller realized his true passion and calling to the practice of law: standing in between the powerful and the people. Mr. Miller sought out areas of law with the greatest power disparity, and in doing so settled on Birth Injury and Medical Malpractice. Today, Mr. Miller exclusively practices in those areas of law, and guides his practice with the ideals that were held in highest esteem throughout his military service.

“Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to a path of public service, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those in my community and beyond. At all times, I prioritize the best interests of my clients, ensuring their needs, goals, and satisfaction are at the forefront of every decision and action I take.” – Mark S. Miller

Mr. Miller is married to his beautiful wife and together they have two wild, yet loving, boys. When he is not advocating for his clients, Mr. Miller is an avid outdoorsman spending time on his property in North Florida with his family.

Mr. Miller firmly believes that the best outcomes come from his hard work, attention to detail, and communication with the client throughout every phase of the client’s case.
