Mr. Disney was understanding and took very good care of representing my rights during the divorce proceedings and also filed the papers himself and presenting the paperwork to the courts himself so that I didn't have to go to court.

He never returned my calls. Had one meeting with him and that was the only contact. It went on for months and nothing was ever done. The office lost our paperwork with no explanation. The whole experience was awful and very frustrating.

I gave him a retainer and I never heard from him. He never returned my calls. He did nothing for 7 months. His secretary told me the only way to get him to do anything is to just show up at his door. I did this twice. I finally forced him to file a motion for us to appear at a temporary matters hearing. He was in such a fog that he did not do what he was supposed to at this hearing. Even the hearing officer appeared frustrated with him.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
