I moved to Florida and was looking through reviews for counsel to help bridge my affairs from NY and FL. I was recently separated and he helped with the bridging of my Will and helped with re-filing using the proper terms for my arrangement for Homstead. I called several attorney's offices, only Mr. Skolnik, responded immediately and took the time to listen to what I needed and explained exactly what had to be done. I met with him and his secretary in his office, they made me feel like I was at home, they are very quick and efficient. And had everything handled within a week. Adam I. Skolnik does not follow up with anything other than your money and doesn't work or file the case. It is Public Information, I suggest you research. Elderly clients included. Very dishonest. Good Luck.
Do NOT believe any of the good reviews you read regarding this attorney. I hired Adam for a fairly simple real estate transaction, and his incompetence has cost me thousands of dollars. He never returns calls, never follows up, never keeps the client updated, and worst of all - when he finally does generate a document of some sort it is incorrect. I have done business with numerous attorneys over the years, and this is by far the most unorganized office I've ever dealt with.
