Our family hired Mr. Miles Stephen Cowan to represent our loved one and we just found him in a phone book. We believed he had over 40 yrs. of experience in criminal law. Well, our family member has been languishing in Clayton County jail for 4 yrs. & 9 months awaiting trial. What does this tell you about this incompetent so-called Attorney, Mr. Cowan? It's now January 2026 and she's still in there. This man has not even visited this client in jail. At the 2 court dates that have come and gone, Mr. Cowan requested continuances. Mr. Cowan was paid $5000 to represent our loved one, spent that money and won't even answer our calls. Mr. Cowan has done no work on this case at all. This man should be disbarred. Mr. Cowan also has a client in Cobb county jail, that has also been there for 4 yrs. & 9 months. I consider him a thief. I should have written this review many years ago. It's the only one he has. Alert Alert. Zero Stars!
